A Journey Into the Mind of P
A documentary, written & directed by Donatello Dubini & Fosco Dubini, mostly on the authors reclusivness, how it's been delt with by some hysterical fans, old friends, critics... containing some interesting interviews & speculations on the themes of Gravity's Rainbow & how they relate to the historical realities of the american fifties and sixties, the paranoid politics of cold war logic, megalomaniac experimental psychology, the callous mindset of military engineering, & so on...

How one man revolutionised animation
It took three months of painstaking special effects to complete a short scene in the 1963 film, Jason and the Argonauts.
It features some of the earliest and most noted examples of stop-motion animation, which was pioneered by Ray Harryhausen.
Born in 1920 in Los Angeles, the visual effects animator made a career of injecting fantasy into fantasy films.
He brought monstors and mythological beasts to life, sculpting then shooting clay models frame by frame, movement by movement.

Powers of Ten™ (1977)
Powers of Ten takes us on an adventure in magnitudes. Starting at a picnic by the lakeside in Chicago, this famous film transports us to the outer edges of the universe. Every ten seconds we view the starting point from ten times farther out until our own galaxy is visible only a s a speck of light among many others. Returning to Earth with breathtaking speed, we move inward- into the hand of the sleeping picnicker- with ten times more magnification every ten seconds. Our journey ends inside a proton of a carbon atom within a DNA molecule in a white blood cell. POWERS OF TEN © 1977 EAMES OFFICE LLC (Available at www.eamesoffice.com)
